Los Angeles rapper Blu has spent nearly two decades establishing himself as one of underground hip-hop's most respected lyricists. His 2007 debut with producer Exile, Below the Heavens, is widely regarded as a modern underground hip-hop classic, earning him a devoted international following. Since then, Blu has built an extensive discography, collaborating with producers and artists including Madlib, Oh No, Nottz, The Alchemist, and Exile. Known for his introspective storytelling, vivid lyricism, and soulful sound, Blu remains one of independent hip-hop's most prolific and enduring voices.

Richmond, Virginia's Nickelus F is a veteran emcee, producer, and one of hip-hop's most formidable lyricists. First gaining national attention as a seven-time champion on BET's 106 & Park Freestyle Friday, he went on to collaborate with Drake during the Canadian superstar's formative years, appearing on his mixtapes Room for Improvement and Comeback Season. Over the past two decades, Nickelus F has built an extensive independent catalog, earning a reputation for razor-sharp wordplay, intricate rhyme schemes, and uncompromising artistry. In 2026, he has released two of the most acclaimed hip hop releases, The Undisputed and Hardbody, as his production in addition to his lyricism continues to gain plaudits.
