Favvors is the moniker of multi-instrumentalist/producer/rapper/graphic designer Sam Calhoun. Hailing from the busy city of Chicago and recently transplanted to Atlanta, Sam grabs influences from modern rock, and nostalgic soul and r&b to create smooth and lush beats. Wielding an sp-404 and whatever vinyl they can get their hands on, they are sure to deliver.

5 years in the making; that's how long it took to get from World Piece (vol. i) to World Piece (vol. ii). In that time favvors has been working on a lot of things, but mostly being focused on community and that what means to them. World Piece (vol. i) was about sharing a piece of the world they live in and the influences and people that soundtracked and mentored favvors' formative years. This time around, on World Piece (vol. ii), it's about mixing their world and the new community surrounding it. It's about feeling and creating, not for a show of talent or skill, but a moment of solidarity and ubiquity. This is World Piece (vol. i), its more than a beat tape, more than songs with friends; it's a statement and a movement. This time we've got the means of production. transmitting from a janky abandoned train car, we bring you WFAV 77.7 FM!
